I can’t tell you how prayer works, but I know it makes a difference. And it’s a resource that’s available to everyone. But we don’t use prayer to make God see things our way; instead, we seek to see life God’s way: to see ourselves, situations, other people, our past, and our future more as God does.

Sometimes we don’t even know what to pray for or what to say. We’ll look at some suggestions over the course of this month, but here’s something to consider: We can be sure that God will answer our prayers when we pray for help to be more like Jesus. So here’s an idea for a prayer for this week: Dear God, please help me know, believe, and feel that you love me.
